What is a Continuing Care Retirement Community?
A continuing care retirement community, or CCRC such as Milwaukee Catholic Home provides for the continuum of housing, services and nursing care needed by older adults. A CCRC offers independence, assistance when needed, companionship and health and medical care, all in a supportive environment.

Are there any age requirements?
Yes, you must be at least 62 years of age to live here as a resident.

Is there a beauty shop?
Yes, our two beauty/barber shops provide services such as haircuts, perms and manicures.

Is there emergency service available?
In case of a medical emergency, assistance is available by pulling the emergency cord in your apartment. The situation would be assessed and appropriate action would be taken. In certain circumstances, we may call your physician or an ambulance.

What security is provided?
There is 24 hour a day security in the building. The back doors are monitored with TV cameras and locked at all times. The front door is locked at sunset. A security officer is on the premises 24 hours a day. When not making rounds, the officer is at or near the front desk.

Can I keep my own car?
Yes, reserved indoor and outdoor parking spaces are available for a nominal monthly fee.
