Cash Gifts
The most common way to give is through a gift of cash, using a check, credit card or money order. While cash donations are wonderful, we discourage sending cash gifts through the mail. Milwaukee Catholic Home accepts Visa, and Master Card.
Stock
Many donors choose to give appreciated stock rather than cash reserves because they receive the same tax deduction but avoid capital gains tax and transfer fees. Electronic delivery of stock shares is secure and the most expedient delivery process available. The following information will help your broker facilitate an electronic transfer of stock:
