Aviary
The aviary is located in the solarium at The Residence. There are a variety of exotic birds for residents to enjoy. Baby birds hatch from time to time. Residents use the solarium to meet with friends or relax.
Library
The library is an engaging place where residents can browse through books, newspapers, and magazines. They may also check out books to read in the comfort of their own apartment. Our library is stocked with large print and standard print books, books on tape, movies and compact disks. The collection is maintained and continues to grow through the help of our resident librarians. A magnifying machine is also available for convenience.
Patio
Our large, landscaped patio is the location for many planned summer events and is a great gathering place for the residents and their families and friends.
Computer Center
The computer lab is available to residents 24 hours a day. It is equipped with six terminals that have internet access, printers and scanners. Computer assistance and classes are available.
Fitness Center
An exercise room with state-of-the-art, senior friendly equipment is located in the Centre. Personal trainers provide individual workout suggestions and can customize routines. Exercise classes are held each weekday in the Ballroom.
Guest Room
Overnight accommodations are available for use by family members or other visitors for a nominal charge. Nightly rates include breakfast the next morning in the dining room.
Convenience Store
The Emporium and Cafe are open Monday through Saturday and are staffed by resident volunteers. It is a great place to enjoy a cappuccino or pick up sundry items.
Parking
For a small monthly fee, residents have the option of a heated indoor garage or outdoor surface parking.
